About the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD
The new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD is a muscular work and off-roading truck. The Duramax diesel V8 option is rated to tow up to 22,500 pounds. The other option, a gas-powered V8, delivers 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. Auburn Metallic and Dark Ash Metallic joined the lineup as new exterior paint colors this year.
Technology Highlights
A 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system is standard on the higher trim levels. The touchscreen can be controlled with tuning knobs or voice commands. It also stores different trailer profiles for towing. The High Country trim comes with adaptive cruise control, and many trims get a wireless phone charging pad.
Design & Styling
The 2025 Silverado 2500 HD is available in six different trim versions. The new Trail Boss Package adds an off-road suspension, 20-inch black all-terrain tires, and recovery hooks. The High Country Tech Package adds a Rear Camera Mirror and Head-Up Display. The Dark Essentials Package adds black badging features for a splash of style.
