What You Need to Know
The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV is now available at Chevrolet GMC of Madras. Although the Silverado EV shares its name with the gas-powered vision, these two models have little else in common. The Silverado EV is Chevy's all-electric pickup truck and boasts some impressive EV capabilities, such as an estimated maximum range of 440 miles per charge (in certain trim levels). Even so, it still delivers the power by pushing out 760 horsepower.
Technology
The entirety of the 2026 Silverado EV is technology-in-action. However, in addition, this model boasts a standard 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and 8.0-inch digital gauge. When upgrading to the higher trim packages, the infotainment screen is an impressive 17.7-inch, with an 11.0-inch gauge display.

This year's version of the Silverado EV has a more complete lineup than previous generations. There is now a base model available featuring a smaller battery, which has reduced the purchase price immensely. The mid-range LT model is a great in-between version of the truck offering more than the base but not going into the luxurious features (and price point) of the RST. The Silverado also has comfortable seating with heating and cooling in the front and automatic climate control.
